I believe, and my reviews on Zocdoc confirm I use the best techniques and obtain excellent outcomes for my patients. In recent months, because of health, weather, traffic, etc., I have been conducting a number of therapy sessions over the phone. I have found that these sessions are at least as effective as in-office sessions. In fact, they seem to be more focused.
If you are living in an area where there is a shortage of good, highly qualified therapists, you would need to travel a distance to a therapist or prefer to avoid being observed going to a therapist, telephone counseling might be a good option for you. It is convenient and very private because your place of employment and the insurance company will not be involved.
Therapy over the telephone is not covered by any insurance, so I have lowered my fee from $180 a session to $130 for a 45-minute session. Payment can be made by credit or debit cards, as well as through Pay Pal.
